Banque Syz looks to enter Spanish private banking sector

Banque Syz, the Geneva-based asset and wealth manager, is looking for a partner to enter the Spanish private banking sector, according to a report in Expansion, a local newspaper.

The report cited Alfredo Piacentini, founder shareholder of Banque Syz, as saying the private banking sector in Spain has great potential to grow and his bank was well placed to gain business in the country.

Banque Syz currently has an institutional asset management and hedge fund business in Spain.
