Sundance star sells up

Robert Redford, the Hollywood actor and director, has agreed to sell his stake in the Sundance Channel, which he helped found, for $496 million in stock and cash.

Rainbow Media, the cable programming subsidiary of Cablevision, is purchasing the Sundance Channel, which shows independent films and other programming. The Sundance channel was operated as a joint venture of NBC, Universal, the CBS Corporation and Robert Redford. Redford, who will receive cash for his 6% stake in the Sundance Channel, will remain with the network.

Diana street named most expensive in UK

Kensington Palace Gardens in Central London, a street where Princess Diana once lived, has been named the most expensive street in the UK, according to a Royal Watch News report.
