LA billionaire bails out art museum for $30m

Trustees of the financially stricken Museum of Contemporary Art have accepted a rescue package from billionaire Eli Broad worth up to $30m (€21.4m), according to a report in Associated Press.

The Eli and Edythe Broad Foundation has pledged to match donations to the museum's endowment up to $15m and to donate $15m over five years towards exhibitions, museum officials said on Tuesday.
