Scotland's richest man suffers £250m fall in fortune

Scotland's richest man Sir Tom Hunter has suffered a loss of £250m (€308.1m) as the value of housing firms declined in the last few months, according to a report in the Scottish newspaper The Evening Times.

With Sir Hunter’s wealth dropping to £750m, the position of the country’s richest man is now held by Jim McCall, chief of Clyde Blowers, a Glasgow engineering firm, who has an estimated £800m fortune.
