Set sail for the ultimate offsite
Stock markets are plummeting, banks are writing-off billions, clients are running for cover, but you've still got to figure out how to make this year's budget. Time for an offsite. And what better backdrop for a serious brainstorming session than the world's most-famous luxury yacht, the Christina O.
Long before Russian billionaires were commissioning outlandish floating palaces, Greek shipping magnate Aristotle Onassis set the standard for private, sea-going luxury with his yacht, the Christina O. It is the boat that hosted the wedding reception of Grace Kelly and Prince Rainier of Monaco, where Onassis romanced Maria Callas and where John F Kennedy was first introduced to Winston Churchill.
Having been restored in 2001, the Christina O bobs around the Mediterranean for most of the year and is available for corporate meetings and events in April, May, September and October. For about £2,000 per person per day, you can take 21 of your most important team members for a three-day cruise from Nice or Livorno to Monte Carlo.
You get Michelin star food (courtesy of restaurant Don Alfonso 1890), Six Sense Spa treatments, the use of jet skis, tender, winder surfers, four lounges, library, fitness centre, bar, swimming pool, and of course, three meeting rooms for up to 30 people each in which to plot global domination.
