Stark financiers target illiquid credit deals with new hedge fund

Teall Edds and Stu Wilson, two Hong Kong-based financiers at Stark Investments, are starting out on their own following the Asia-focused hedge fund’s decision to exit investments in illiquid credit deals, according to a report in The Wall Street Journal.

The duo, who are launching Orchard Capital Partners with $1.5bn (€1bn) in total capital, will continue investing in debt and private-equity-like transactions.
