Stoy Hayward hires trio for alternatives funds team

BDO Stoy Hayward, a London-based wealth manager, has hired three senior managers to strengthen its alternative fund of funds team.

John Smutniak joins from Lyonross Capital Management, where he was portfolio manager of a number of alternative fund of funds. He was previously a journalist at the Economist covering economics and the financial markets.

Dev Jadeja joins the team as a hedge fund analyst, from Old Mutual Asset Management, where he was an assistant portfolio manager in the multi-manager hedge fund team, focusing on quantitative and fundamental equity, macro programmes and fixed income exposure.

Rahul Saito also joins the team as a hedge fund analyst from Man Group, where he spent the last three years, two of which were spent in Tokyo covering Asian managers co-managing RMF’s macro and emerging market funds.
