Credit Suisse hires Citigroup bankers for regional wealth unit

Credit Suisse on Thursday said it had hired Citigroup executives to lead its private banking division in Australia with immediate effect, according to a Reuters report.

Andrew Bird, who will be based in Melbourne, joins the Swiss bank as director, senior relationship manager. Lucinda Bloom has been appointed as vice-president, structured derivates, based in Sydney.

Credit Suisse also named Paul Aliprandi and Melissa Anderson vice-president for the wealth management team and assistant vice-president, respectively, in corporate advisory services, the Reuters report said.
