Barclays Wealth hires investment specialist from Coutts

Barclays Wealth in Singapore has hired Pheabe Chau as head of investment specialists from Coutts Bank von Ernst.

Chau will oversee a team of investment specialists based in Singapore and will report to Thomas Fekete, the global head of investment specialists.

At Coutts Chau was responsible for setting up investment advisory services for the bank's private banking joint venture with Bank of China in Beijing and Shanghai.
