UBS pursues cooperation between investment bank and wealth management in Asia

The head of equity research at UBS's investment bank in Hong Kong will also work for the bank's wealth management arm from next month, according to a report in Infocast News.

Andrew Look, head of Hong Kong research, strategy and product, will offer consultancy services to the firm's wealth management units.

"Andrew's appointment represents a unique collaboration between UBS' Wealth Management and Investment Bank's equity business units," said Min Park, head of Asian equity risk management products at UBS Investment Bank, as cited in the report.

Look has featured in Asiamoney’s top analysts ranking for Hong Kong for six of the past seven years. He joined UBS in June 2000 after spending 15 years in the banking, property development and fund management industries.
