BNY Mellon appoints chief for hedge fund administration arm

Brian Ruane has been named chief executive of BNY Mellon Alternative Investment Services, a leading hedge fund administrator with more than $200bn (€135.4bn) in client assets, according to a Reuters report.

Ruane previously served as executive vice president and head of global client management North America at BNY Mellon.
