Barclays hires Qatar investment/private banking CEO

Barclays announces the appointment of Izzat Nuseibeh as chief executive of its investment banking and investment management business in Qatar.

Barclays announces the appointment of Izzat Nuseibeh, as chief executive officer of the Investment Banking and Investment Management arm of Barclays in Qatar, based in the Qatar Financial Centre.

He will report into Soha Nashaat, CEO of Barclays Wealth, Middle East and North Africa and will be responsible for coordinating all IBIM activities for the Qatari market. Before joining Barclays, Izzat spent the last 5 years at Credit Suisse as Senior Executive Officer serving the Abu Dhabi and Doha offices. His responsibilities included Private Banking, Investment Banking and Asset Management. Prior to that he spent 10 years at Deutsche Bank based in Abu Dhabi.
