Merrill scoops former UBS wealth high flyer

Merrill Lynch's wealth management has hired a senior financial adviser from peer UBS, as the latest blow for the troubled Swiss bank.

Tiffany Troxel will focus on ultra high net worth private clients based in the UK and Europe, including non-resident non-domiciled clients.

Troxel will be based in London and report to Nick Tucker, market leader for the UK and Ireland.

During her six years at UBS, Troxel was one of the few to be awarded three times the “UBS Circle of Excellence”, an annual award which recognises the top advisers globally. Before UBS, she was a private wealth management associate at Goldman Sachs in London.
