Kleinwort hires from RBS Coutts

Kleinwort Benson, the UK-based private bank owned by Commerzbank of Germany, has hired Chris Burton as head of its international division from RBS Coutts.

Burton used to be chief executive of RBS Coutts International Trust and Fiduciary Services. His career at RBS spanned 26 years.

Burton will be based in the Channel Isles. Kleinwort confirmed an acceleration of its drive to grow its international wealth management business.
