Winterthur appoints new head of investment distribution

Winterthur has appointed Martin Moore as head of investment distribution to lead the development of its Tailored Selection, Elite managed funds and Elite sector funds investment propositions, according to a report in the Financial Times.

In the role, Moore will oversee Winterthur's relationships with investment houses and IFAs in the UK, and will manage the investment fund range. Moore has previously held positions at Gartmore and F&C Asset Management, and boasts over 30 years experience working within the financial services industry.

David Thompson, managing director of sales and marketing at Axa and Winterthur Wealth Management, said: "I am delighted to welcome Martin to Winterthur. His role is vital for us to maintain our strong position in the investment business, giving clients the suitability and flexibility of investment choices we're committed to providing."
