Investec hires two from Barclays Wealth

Investec Bank has hired two senior private bankers in the financial intermediaries team in the Channel Islands.

Lisa Norman joins from Barclays Wealth where she was associate director and led the intermediary team in Guernsey.

Liz Tanguy also joins from Barclays Wealth. Prior to that she was at Kleinwort Benson and Lloyds, both in Guernsey.

Norman and Tanguy will work with the existing team of David Fitch, Marc Krombach and Lorraine Henry.

Mayfair goes Modern

Sebastian + Barquet, a three-year old design gallery based in New York and Chelsea, is opening a new gallery showing museum quality pieces in Mayfair next month, the first in London to focus on international modernism from the 1940s to the 1960s. Its opening exhibition is dedicated to American modernist design and is curated by celebrated architect Eric Parry.
