Barclays Wealth hires from Coutts

Barclays Wealth has hired a head for its Leeds and Manchester offices from Coutts & Co.

Alan Edwards starts as regional centre head for Leeds and Manchester, reporting to Andrew Houston, Barclays Wealth regional director.

He was previously at Coutts for three and a half years, first as senior manager heading up their Leeds and Newcastle offices and more recently as client partner in charge of Leeds. Prior to his role at Coutts, Edwards was at HSBC for six years.
