Barclays Global Investors names chief for transition strategy

Barclays Global Investors has recruited David Gagnon as director of transition strategy from Nomura, according to a report in the Financial Times.

Gagnon formerly served in transition management at Lehman Brothers.

Separately, Collins Stewart Wealth Management has hired Tracey Carter from Royal Bank of Scotland for its treasury function.
